How Hamburg differs from the nationwide German holidays
Hamburg's Feiertagsgesetz (§ 1) lists the gesetzliche Feiertage: the nationwide days and, as number 8, the date 31. Oktober, which the section gives without a name. This calendar adds that day to the nationwide German Feiertage under the name § 30 Abs. 4 StVO uses for it in Hamburg, Reformationstag. It falls on a Saturday in 2026 and a Sunday in 2027, so Hamburg's working-day count is the same as the nationwide German count in those years; in 2028 it falls on a Tuesday and closes one more weekday. Neither Fronleichnam nor Allerheiligen is in § 1.
