Business Days by Country

This hub gathers every country the calculator supports in one place: 25 national business-day tools, each wired to that country's own public-holiday calendar and weekend rule. Each country's holiday file names the official source it was taken from, and the holiday source register lists them all.
The weekend is not the same everywhere, and a count made on the wrong one can land on the wrong date. For 21 of the 25 countries here the calculator counts Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday as the weekend. For Egypt, Qatar and Saudi Arabia it counts Sunday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off, the official working week each of those governments has set (the instruments are in the sources below). Israel is counted Sunday to Friday, the week of the Bank of Israel's payment system, with Saturday the only weekly rest day. The United Arab Emirates is the one that trips people up: its federal government has worked Monday to Friday since 1 January 2022, with a half day on Friday and Saturday and Sunday off, so the calculator counts Friday there as a business day. Each card below states the rule the calculator applies.

The number on each card counts the dates in that country's 2026 holiday table. A holiday that runs over several days, or is also kept on a substitute weekday, fills more than one date, so the number can be higher than the count of separate holidays.
