Calculate business days in Canarias with its own regional public holidays. Like the Spain calculator, this page counts Monday to Friday as working days; what changes is the holiday list, so due dates and deadlines can land differently from the Spain calculator's count.
How Canarias differs from the Spain calculator
Canarias observes Jueves Santo (Maundy Thursday) on 2 April alongside Viernes Santo (the BOE table marks both as a Fiesta Nacional), and adds the Día de Canarias on 30 May, which falls on a Saturday in 2026. Todos los Santos (1 November) and the Día de la Constitución (6 December) fall on a Sunday in 2026; the BOE table lists Monday 2 November as a holiday in Canarias, but not Monday 7 December. The holidays on days from Monday to Friday that this site's Spain calculator set does not contain are therefore Jueves Santo and 2 November. Decreto 61/2025 also sets an extra holiday on each island (for example 8 September, Nuestra Señora del Pino, on Gran Canaria); these island days are left out of this region-wide count.
Worked example
Adding 2 business days to Friday, October 30, 2026 using Canarias's holidays lands on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. With the Spain calculator's set, the same calculation lands on Tuesday, November 3, 2026: the gap comes from a date in Canarias's table that the set does not have.
