Cantabria Business Day Calculator

Last reviewed: May 19, 2026 · Holiday data: June 24, 2026

Calculate business days in Cantabria with its own autonomic public holidays. Cantabria shares the Monday to Friday working week and the Saturday and Sunday weekend with the rest of Spain, but its holiday calendar is different, so due dates and deadlines can land differently from the national count.

How Cantabria differs from the national Spanish holidays

Cantabria observes Jueves Santo (Maundy Thursday) on 2 April alongside the national Viernes Santo, and adds the Día de las Instituciones de Cantabria on 28 July and La Bien Aparecida on 15 September, both Tuesdays in 2026. Because the Día de la Constitución (6 December) falls on a Sunday, Cantabria moves the rest day to Monday 7 December; it does not move Todos los Santos (1 November), which stays on its Sunday date. Jueves Santo, the two July and September days, and 7 December are the four weekday closures Cantabria adds beyond the national set.

Worked example

Adding 2 business days to Monday, July 27, 2026 using Cantabria's holidays lands on Thursday, July 30, 2026. With the national Spanish holidays, the same calculation lands on Wednesday, July 29, 2026: the gap comes from Cantabria's own calendar.
