Calculate business days in Madrid with its own regional public holidays. Like the Spain calculator, this page counts Monday to Friday as working days; what changes is the holiday list, so due dates and deadlines can land differently from the Spain calculator's count.
How Madrid differs from the Spain calculator
Madrid adds the Fiesta de la Comunidad de Madrid on 2 May, which falls on a Saturday in 2026, and observes Jueves Santo (Maundy Thursday) on 2 April alongside Viernes Santo (the BOE table marks both as a Fiesta Nacional). Todos los Santos (1 November) and the Día de la Constitución (6 December) fall on a Sunday in 2026, and the BOE table lists the following Mondays, 2 November and 7 December, as holidays in Madrid. Jueves Santo and those two Mondays are the holidays on days from Monday to Friday that this site's Spain calculator set does not contain, so a business-day count that spans them ends later than the Spain calculator's count. Under art. 46 of Real Decreto 2001/1983, which the BOE resolution recites, up to two more days a year are local fiestas in each municipality, published in the bulletin of the Comunidad Autónoma or of the province; they are not in this count.
Worked example
Adding 2 business days to Friday, October 30, 2026 using Madrid's holidays lands on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. With the Spain calculator's set, the same calculation lands on Tuesday, November 3, 2026: the gap comes from a date in Madrid's table that the set does not have.
