How Melilla differs from the Spain calculator
The BOE table gives the Ciudad de Melilla Jueves Santo (Maundy Thursday) on 2 April as a Fiesta Nacional and, for 2026, two holidays of its own: the Fiesta del Eid Fitr (Eid al-Fitr) on 20 March and the Fiesta Sacrificio-Aid al Adha (Eid al-Adha) on 27 May. Todos los Santos (1 November) and the Día de la Constitución (6 December) fall on a Sunday in 2026; the BOE table lists Monday 7 December as a holiday in Melilla, but not Monday 2 November. Those weekday closures, with 7 December, pull the Melilla count below the Spain calculator's count.

Adding 2 business days to Thursday, March 19, 2026 using Melilla's holidays lands on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. With the Spain calculator's set, the same calculation lands on Monday, March 23, 2026: the gap comes from a date in Melilla's table that the set does not have.
