How Murcia differs from the national Spanish holidays

The Región de Murcia adds San José on 19 March and the Día de la Región de Murcia on 9 June, and observes Jueves Santo (Maundy Thursday) on 2 April alongside the national Viernes Santo. Because the Día de la Constitución (6 December) falls on a Sunday, Murcia moves the rest day to Monday 7 December; it does not move Todos los Santos (1 November), which stays on its Sunday date. San José, Jueves Santo, the 9 June regional day, and 7 December are the four weekday closures beyond the national set.
