Calculate business days in Manitoba with its own statutory holidays. Like the Canada calculator, this page counts Monday to Friday as working days; what changes is the holiday list, so due dates and deadlines can land differently from the federal count.
How Manitoba differs from the federal Canadian holidays
Manitoba has nine general holidays, as its Employment Standards fact sheet states. To the federal set it adds Louis Riel Day on the third Monday in February, and it keeps Orange Shirt Day (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation) on 30 September. The fact sheet says Easter Sunday, Terry Fox Day, Remembrance Day and Boxing Day are not general holidays, so the federal Remembrance Day and Boxing Day are dropped from a Manitoba count. When a general holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday that an employee does not normally work, the fact sheet says the employee must get the next regular workday off with general holiday pay. So Christmas Day 2027 is counted on Monday 27 December, and in 2028 New Year's Day, Canada Day and Orange Shirt Day are counted on Monday 3 January, Monday 3 July and Monday 2 October.
Worked example
Adding 2 business days to Friday, February 13, 2026 using Manitoba's statutory holidays lands on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. With the federal Canadian holidays, the same calculation lands on Tuesday, February 17, 2026: the gap comes from Manitoba's own calendar.

How to count Manitoba business days
