The 2027 Israel holiday table below lists 12 dates, each one a day this calculator treats as closed. 9 fall on a working day of the Sunday-to-Friday week and 3 land on a weekend, leaving 304 working days across the year on the national-only count. A date is not always a holiday of its own: 5 are numbered days of a holiday that lasts more than one day.

The 3 weekend dates in 2027 fall on a Saturday, days the count already excludes, so the working-day reduction comes only from the 9 working-day dates. For 2024 to 2027 this calendar is the Bank of Israel's: it holds every day the Bank's calendar for its ZAHAV RTGS payment system marks as a non-business day in that year. Those are the Jewish holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, Passover, Shavuot) and Independence Day, which follow the Hebrew calendar, together with Purim on its Tel Aviv date, the Fast of the Ninth of Av, the eve of Yom Kippur and election days. From 2028 the calendar carries only the Jewish holidays and Independence Day, because the Bank's calendars cited here end with 2027; no authority's list is cited for those dates. The count runs Sunday to Friday, ZAHAV's operating days, with Saturday the only weekly rest day. A Friday, or a holiday eve on which ZAHAV closes early, is a short business day there and a full business day here, so a holiday on a Friday takes a business day out of the count and one on a Saturday takes none.

ZAHAV closes for Purim on its Tel Aviv date only, so the Jerusalem day is a business day here, although the Bank's Markets Department lists a second Purim day as a bank and public holiday in each of its calendars for 2024 to 2027, naming Jerusalem in 2024, 2026 and 2027 and Purim Meshulash in 2025; add it under Advanced options for a deadline in Jerusalem. Fridays count as full business days, and so do the holiday eves on which ZAHAV only closes early, every eve except Yom Kippur's. Hanukkah, Yom HaShoah and Yom HaZikaron are not non-business days in ZAHAV and are not in this calendar. Nor is this the week of every Israeli deadline: government ministries on the five-day week work Sunday to Thursday (Civil Service Regulations, paragraph 31.111, in the National Insurance Institute's copy dated 29 May 2022) and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange trades Monday to Friday, so a deadline that runs on either of those weeks is not the default count. For the ministries' week the Israel calculator has a Working week setting: Sunday to Thursday (government ministries) leaves the Fridays out as well and keeps the same holidays.
