The 2027 Singapore holiday table below lists 11 dates, each one a day this calculator treats as closed. 8 fall on a weekday and 3 land on a weekend, leaving 253 working days across the year on the national-only count. A date is not always a holiday of its own: 1 is marked observed or additional, the day a holiday was moved to or a further day granted with it.

The 3 weekend dates in 2027 fall on a Saturday or Sunday, days the count already excludes, so the working-day reduction comes only from the 8 weekday dates. Singapore's Holidays Act 1998 declares the days in its Schedule public holidays. When this page was last checked, the Ministry of Manpower's page listed 2025, 2026 and 2027; the data's rows for those years are MOM's dates. The rows for 2024 match MOM's list as the Internet Archive captured it on 15 June 2024. For 2028 and 2029 the dates of Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Raya Haji, Vesak Day and Deepavali are calculated and marked (approximate) until MOM publishes them. When one falls on a Sunday, section 4(2) makes the next day that is not itself a public holiday a public holiday. This table lists that day in place of the Sunday. A holiday on a Saturday adds no public holiday under the Act, and the calculator keeps the following Monday as a business day. Section 5 lets the President declare further public holidays by notification in the Gazette, among them an additional day in a year when two holidays fall on the same day; this table carries such a day only once it is gazetted.

The Holidays Act declares public holidays for the whole of Singapore, so there is no regional layer. Chinese New Year, Good Friday, Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Raya Haji, Vesak Day and Deepavali fall on different dates from year to year in the data. For 2028 and 2029 the dates of Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Raya Haji, Vesak Day and Deepavali are calculated and marked (approximate) until MOM publishes them. The data has no Hari Raya Puasa row for 2029: this site has no first-party date for it. That year therefore has 10 rows, and the 2029 count can change when MOM publishes its list.
