Last reviewed: October 14, 2026 · Holiday data: October 8, 2026

How Basel-Stadt differs from the Switzerland calculator

This page counts the eight days of this site's Swiss baseline and adds one Basel-Stadt day: Tag der Arbeit (Labour Day) on 1 May. No baseline day is dropped. 1 May falls on a Friday in 2026, a Saturday in 2027 and a Monday in 2028, so it closes a weekday in 2026 and 2028 only.
