14 business days covers roughly three calendar weeks once weekends come out. Almost every fourteen-day deadline you will meet in US federal practice is fourteen calendar days rather than fourteen business days, which is why this page is worth reading before you rely on the date.
Check which fourteen you were given
Fourteen is the workhorse number of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. A party has fourteen days to object to a magistrate judge's order under Rule 72(a) and fourteen days to object to a recommended disposition under Rule 72(b)(2). Both are counted under Rule 6(a)(1)(B), which counts "every day, including intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays". Fourteen calendar days from a Wednesday is the Wednesday two weeks later. Fourteen business days from that same Wednesday is about a week further out.
Net 14 invoice terms have the same problem in the opposite direction. Net 14 is a commercial convention, not a statutory period, and unless the contract says otherwise it means fourteen calendar days from the invoice date.
Why fourteen, and why it is usually calendar days
The choice of fourteen is not arbitrary. When the federal rules were restructured in 2009, short deadlines were deliberately set at multiples of seven so that a period beginning on a Tuesday would end on a Tuesday. That property only holds if the days counted are calendar days. Convert the same period to business days and you lose the alignment, which is the practical reason drafters of court rules avoid business-day periods for anything short.
Commercial drafters make the opposite trade. They accept the loss of weekday alignment to buy certainty that a holiday cannot eat a working day out of a review window. That is the real difference between a fourteen-day court deadline and a fourteen-business-day contract review period, and it is why the two produce different dates from the same start.

What lands inside a fourteen-day window
No US federal holiday falls inside this window from the reference date, so every skipped day is a Saturday or a Sunday. Switch the country in the calculator above to count against a calendar that does have one.
