Singapore November deadlines
November 30 is the filing due date for a company's income tax return, Form C-S, Form C-S (Lite) or Form C. CPF contributions for October are due on its last day, with enforcement against an employer that has not paid them by November 14, or the next working day when the 14th is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday. The Ministry of Manpower lists Deepavali on Sunday 8 November 2026, with Monday 9 November a public holiday for employees whose rest day is the Sunday; this calculator closes the Monday. November 14 is a Saturday, so the CPF date is Monday 16 November.

Those dates in 2026
One of the dates named above does not fall on a working day in 2026 under the Singapore calendar. A fixed calendar date advances through the week year by year, so this resolution holds for 2026 only.

Singapore reporting cycles and business-day rules
This calculator counts Monday to Friday and leaves out the 11 public holidays the Ministry of Manpower lists. When one falls on a Sunday, section 4(2) of the Holidays Act 1998 makes the next day that is not itself a public holiday a public holiday too, and the calculator leaves that day out as well. A holiday on a Saturday adds no public holiday under the Act, although MOM says an employee whose Saturday is a non-working day should get either a day off or salary in lieu; the calculator adds no day for it. The CPF Board's enforcement date, the 14th of the month after contributions fall due, moves to the next working day when it is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday.
Sources for these rules
- Public holidays: entitlement and pay: the 11 gazetted public holidays; an employee covered by the Employment Act is entitled to 11 paid public holidays in a year, and for one who is not it is according to the terms of the employment contract; for a holiday on a non-working Saturday, either a day off or salary in lieu; for work on a public holiday, by default an additional day's pay or, by mutual agreement, a public holiday in lieu (Ministry of Manpower)
- Holidays Act 1998: s 4(1) the days specified in the Schedule are declared to be public holidays; s 4(2) if any day specified in the Schedule falls on a Sunday, the day next following not being itself a public holiday is declared a public holiday; s 5(1) the President may, by notification in the Gazette, declare any day in any particular year to be observed as a public holiday in addition to, or in substitution for, any day specified in the Schedule; s 5(2) where in any year 2 public holidays fall on the same day, the President may declare any day in that year to be observed as an additional public holiday; the Schedule: New Year's Day, Chinese New Year (2 days), Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Raya Haji, Good Friday, Labour Day, Vesak Day, National Day, Deepavali, Christmas Day (Singapore Statutes Online (Attorney-General's Chambers))

How November 2026 compares year over year
November 2025 also had 20 working days, so the working capacity is unchanged year over year. On the surrounding months, October 2026 has 22 working days and December 2026 has 22. Looking forward, November 2027 has 22 working days under the same Singapore holiday calendar.
Using this calculator in Singapore
Count the 20 business days of November 2026 when a CPF or IRAS date is near. CPF contributions for a month are due on its last day, and the CPF Board takes enforcement action against an employer that has not paid them by the 14th of the following month, or by the next working day when the 14th is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday. A GST return and its payment are due one month after the end of the accounting period, and a company files its estimated chargeable income within three months of its financial year end, unless one of IRAS's exceptions applies.
Sources for these rules
- Paying your employees' CPF contributions on time: contributions are due on the last day of each calendar month; enforcement action against employers who fail to pay by the 14th of the following month, or the next working day if the 14th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday (CPF Board)
- GST filing due dates: the GST return and payment are due 1 month after the end of the accounting period (Jan-Mar by 30 Apr, Apr-Jun by 31 Jul, Jul-Sept by 31 Oct, Oct-Dec by 31 Jan) (Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS))
- Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) filing: within 3 months from the end of the financial year, unless an exception applies (Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS))

How November 2026 is shaped
The headline count answers how many working days November 2026 contains. It does not answer where they sit, and for anything measured in consecutive days rather than cumulative days that second question is the binding one. What follows is derived entirely from the Singapore holiday calendar and a working week that treats Saturday and Sunday as the weekend, with no assumption about how any particular obligation behaves.
The middle month of the final quarter
November runs 30 days and is the middle month of Q4. It shares its weekday alignment with March in every year, so a November calendar is a March calendar with a day removed from the end. Sitting between a quarter opening and a year end, it is the month where deferred work is most often assumed to have room and least often measured.
In November 2026 that comes to 20 working days across 30 calendar days, against 22 in October 2026 and 22 in December 2026.
The month opens across a weekend
The 1st of November is a Sunday, a weekend day under the Singapore calendar, whose week runs against a Saturday and Sunday weekend. Nothing that settles on working days moves on it. A month that opens this way loses its first working day to the calendar before any holiday is counted, and monthly cycles keyed to the 1st all resolve forward to the same date, which concentrates them.
The month's first working day is Monday, November 2, and November 2026 carries 20 working days in total.
Five working stretches
November splits into five working stretches. That is the ordinary shape of a month whose only interruptions are its weekends, and it means the month's internal boundaries are all predictable a year in advance: nothing here depends on a holiday date moving.
The working days of November 2026 arrive in stretches of 5, 4, 5, 5, and 1 day. The longest unbroken stretch runs five days, from November 2 to November 6. A task needing more consecutive working days than that cannot be completed inside a single stretch, whatever the month's total looks like.
The month is front-loaded. It opens with five consecutive days and closes with one, so capacity thins toward the end. Work deferred out of the first stretch arrives in a shorter one, which is how a schedule that looked comfortable in week one stops fitting.
Two weekdays occur five times
Thirty days is four seven-day cycles plus two, so a 30-day month has exactly two weekdays occurring five times and five occurring four times. Here they are Sunday and Monday. The pair is always consecutive, because the surplus days are the first two of the month repeated at its end.
Only Monday among them is a working day, so part of the surplus is absorbed by the Saturday and Sunday weekend and never reaches the working total. That split is why two months of the same length can carry different working-day counts without any holiday being involved.
One closure, and where it lands
November 2026 carries a single Singapore closure on a working day: Deepavali (observed) on Monday, November 9. A holiday's cost to a month is not only the day it removes; it is also where the removal falls, because the same closure can extend an existing break or cut a working stretch in half.
It sits directly beside a weekend rather than inside a working week, so it extends an existing break instead of creating a new one. That is the cheapest position a holiday can occupy: the month loses a day but keeps its shape.
five working days pass before the closure and 15 follow it, which puts the break just short of the month's midpoint. A closure near the middle divides the month into two usable halves rather than trimming one end of it.
The closures around this month
November 2026 carries one Singapore closure of its own, and the months on either side add their own. Where a deadline sits close to a month boundary, the closure that moves it is as likely to be outside the month as inside it.
Looking outside the month, the last was National Day (observed) on August 10, 2026, 83 calendar days before November began and the next is Christmas Day on December 25, 2026, 25 calendar days after it ends.
Across the whole of 2026 the Singapore calendar puts ten closures on working days, of which one falls in November. That ratio, rather than the raw count, is what tells you whether a month is carrying more than its share of the year's downtime.
The month ends where a week begins
The final calendar day of November 2026 is the first working day of a week. A single working day of that week belongs to November and the rest to the month following, which is the least amount of closing capacity a month can have. Anything that must be done "in the last week" of November really has to be done before the preceding weekend.
The last working day of November 2026 is Monday, November 30. Counting back from there, the third-to-last is Thursday, November 26, four calendar days before the month closes.
The middle month of the quarter
November is the middle month of Q4. Middle months carry the least visibility in a quarterly cycle: the opening month sets expectations and the closing month is where they are settled, so a shortfall here is the one most likely to be noticed late.
Across the whole quarter there are 64 working days, of which 20 fall in November. The other two months carry October 2026 with 22 and December 2026 with 22. It is the smallest of the three, so the quarter's capacity sits mostly in the other two months and a plan that spreads work evenly across the quarter will over-commit November.
Every working weekday occurs the same number of times
November 2026 works each weekday of its week the same number of times. That is the flat case, and it is the only one where a weekly recurring commitment costs the same whichever weekday it is pinned to. It happens when the month's length and its closures happen to cancel, not because the month is regular: the calendar census above and this one can agree for quite different reasons.
Counted as worked rather than as occurring, November 2026 gives Monday 4, Tuesday 4, Wednesday 4, Thursday 4, and Friday 4. A weekly commitment pinned to a particular weekday fires that many times in the month, which is the number a rota needs and not the one the calendar shows.
Toward the short end of the year
November sits among the shorter working months of 2026 under the Singapore calendar. A month reaches this end of the ranking either by being short or by absorbing closures, and the two produce the same headline number while behaving differently: a closure fragments the month, a shorter calendar does not.
2026 carries 251 working days in total under the Singapore calendar. The longest month of the year is July 2026 with 23 and the shortest is February 2026 with 18, a spread of 5. November ranks 10th of the twelve with 20.
Singapore closures across the year
A month's working-day count only means something against the country's whole calendar. Two countries that share a weekend and happen to have the same closure-free month can still run very different years, and Singapore is placed as follows.
Across 2026 the Singapore closures fall 3 in Q1, 4 in Q2, 1 in Q3, and 2 in Q4. A further one holiday lands on the Saturday and Sunday weekend and cost no working day at all, which is why a country's holiday count and its working-day loss are different numbers.
The longest uninterrupted run in the 2026 calendar sits between August 10, 2026 and November 9, 2026, 91 calendar days with no Singapore closure in between. Stretches like that are where multi-week work belongs, and they move from year to year whenever a movable holiday does.
Where the month sits in the year's closure pattern
Closures are not spread evenly across a calendar year. They cluster around fixed anniversaries and around whichever lunar or movable feasts a jurisdiction observes, so two adjacent months can carry very different loads, and the Singapore calendar is no exception.
2026 opens its Singapore closures with New Year's Day on January 1, 2026 and ends them with Christmas Day on December 25, 2026. The densest month of the year is February 2026 with two closures on working days.
The same count as last year
November 2026 and November 2025 carry the same number of working days, 20 in each. An unchanged total does not mean an unchanged month: the working days sit on different dates and break into different stretches, so a schedule copied forward date by date will not line up even though the capacity has not moved.
November opens 2025 on a Saturday, 2026 on a Sunday, and 2027 on a Monday. That movement, one weekday in a common year and two after a leap day, is what makes the three counts differ. The count of closures on working days differs between the two years as well, so alignment is not the only thing moving. Looking ahead, November 2027 carries 22 working days.
Where the month's anchor dates fall
Two of the common monthly anchor dates in November 2026 land outside the working week or on a closure. The table below resolves each one against the Singapore calendar, together with the first working day on or after it.
| Date | Weekday | Status under the Singapore calendar | First working day on or after |
|---|---|---|---|
| November 1 | Sunday | Weekend | November 2, 2026 |
| November 5 | Thursday | Working day | November 5 |
| November 10 | Tuesday | Working day | November 10 |
| November 15 | Sunday | Weekend | November 16, 2026 |
| November 20 | Friday | Working day | November 20 |
| November 25 | Wednesday | Working day | November 25 |
| November 30 | Monday | Working day | November 30 |
The final column is arithmetic, not a legal conclusion. Whether an obligation actually moves when its date is not a working day depends on the instrument that sets it, and this site does not assume a shift rule for any jurisdiction. Where a rule is known it is stated in the holiday data methodology and on the country page it applies to.
Net terms dated in November 2026
An invoice dated the 1st of November on calendar-day Net 30 terms comes due on December 1, 2026, a working day under the Singapore calendar. Terms counted in calendar days move independently of the working week, so the same term written on two consecutive months can settle cleanly in one and roll across a closure in the other.
| Invoice date | Net 30, calendar days | Net 60, calendar days |
|---|---|---|
| Dated November 1 | December 1, 2026 | December 31, 2026 |
| Dated November 15 | December 15, 2026 | January 14, 2027 |
| Dated November 30 | December 30, 2026 | January 29, 2027 |
Net 30 and Net 60 are commercial conventions rather than statutory periods, and both are counted here in calendar days, which is how they are almost always written. Where a contract counts in working days instead, use the between-dates calculator with the Singapore calendar selected, because the two produce different dates whenever a closure falls inside the term.
