public holidays in June 2027

No Singapore holidays fall on a weekday in June 2027, so the month loses no working day to a holiday on this calendar.

Singapore June deadlines

CPF contributions for May are due on its last day, with enforcement against an employer that has not paid them by June 14, or the next working day when the 14th is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday. A company with a 31 March financial year end files its estimated chargeable income by June 30, within three months of the year end, unless one of IRAS's exceptions applies. The Ministry of Manpower's 2027 list has no June public holiday.

Those dates in 2027

Every date named above falls on a working day in 2027 under the Singapore calendar. That is worth checking rather than assuming: the same calendar date moves through the week from year to year, so a date that settles cleanly this year may not next year.

Singapore reporting cycles and business-day rules

This calculator counts Monday to Friday and leaves out the 11 public holidays the Ministry of Manpower lists. When one falls on a Sunday, section 4(2) of the Holidays Act 1998 makes the next day that is not itself a public holiday a public holiday too, and the calculator leaves that day out as well. A holiday on a Saturday adds no public holiday under the Act, although MOM says an employee whose Saturday is a non-working day should get either a day off or salary in lieu; the calculator adds no day for it. The CPF Board's enforcement date, the 14th of the month after contributions fall due, moves to the next working day when it is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday.

June 2027 working days compared by country

Working-day counts vary across countries because each country observes its own public holidays. The table below shows June 2027 under 11 of the site's 25 holiday calendars; the summary above gives Singapore's own count.

How June 2027 compares year over year

June 2026 had 21 working days, so June 2027 has 1 more working day year over year. On the surrounding months, May 2027 has 19 working days and July 2027 has 22. Looking forward, June 2028 has 22 working days under the same Singapore holiday calendar.

Using this calculator in Singapore

Count the 22 business days of June 2027 when a CPF or IRAS date is near. CPF contributions for a month are due on its last day, and the CPF Board takes enforcement action against an employer that has not paid them by the 14th of the following month, or by the next working day when the 14th is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday. A GST return and its payment are due one month after the end of the accounting period, and a company files its estimated chargeable income within three months of its financial year end, unless one of IRAS's exceptions applies.

How June 2027 is shaped

The headline count answers how many working days June 2027 contains. It does not answer where they sit, and for anything measured in consecutive days rather than cumulative days that second question is the binding one. What follows is derived entirely from the Singapore holiday calendar and a working week that treats Saturday and Sunday as the weekend, with no assumption about how any particular obligation behaves.

The month that closes the first half of the year

June runs 30 days, closes Q2 and closes the first half of the calendar year, so its last working day carries three boundaries at once: month, quarter and half-year. It is one of only two months that can do that. June and February also share a weekday alignment in a common year, which means a June calendar is the February calendar extended by two days.

In June 2027 that comes to 22 working days across 30 calendar days, against 19 in May 2027 and 22 in July 2027.

A start one day into the week

The 1st falls on the second working day of the week, so June inherits a part-week at the top. One working day of that week was spent in the previous month, which is why a month opening here reads short at the beginning and long at the end. Reporting cut on calendar weeks and reporting cut on the calendar month disagree about where the period starts, and the gap is exactly one working day.

The opening stretch runs from Tuesday, June 1 to June 4, four working days before the first break. June 2027 carries 22 working days in total, so that opening block is 18% of the month's working capacity.

Five working stretches

June splits into five working stretches. That is the ordinary shape of a month whose only interruptions are its weekends, and it means the month's internal boundaries are all predictable a year in advance: nothing here depends on a holiday date moving.

The working days of June 2027 arrive in stretches of 4, 5, 5, 5, and 3 days. The longest unbroken stretch runs five days, from June 7 to June 11. A task needing more consecutive working days than that cannot be completed inside a single stretch, whatever the month's total looks like.

The month is front-loaded. It opens with four consecutive days and closes with three, so capacity thins toward the end. Work deferred out of the first stretch arrives in a shorter one, which is how a schedule that looked comfortable in week one stops fitting.

Two weekdays occur five times

Thirty days is four seven-day cycles plus two, so a 30-day month has exactly two weekdays occurring five times and five occurring four times. Here they are Tuesday and Wednesday. The pair is always consecutive, because the surplus days are the first two of the month repeated at its end.

All of them are working days here, so the surplus lands entirely on the working week: Tuesday and Wednesday each occur 5 times. Had the surplus fallen on the weekend instead, the same month would carry 20 working days rather than 22.

A month with no closures, and a long one

June 2027 contains no Singapore holiday on any date, working or otherwise. A month with no closure loses working days only to weekends, so its count is set entirely by the weekday it opens on and its length, and here both work in the month's favour: 22 working days across 30 calendar days.

Months at this end of the range are the ones worth reserving for work that needs consecutive days rather than cumulative days. The constraint that usually breaks a long run, a closure landing mid-week, is absent, so the month's structure is entirely weekend-driven and repeats on a seven-day cycle.

The closures on either side of the month

Nothing closes inside June 2027 under the Singapore calendar, so the useful question is what sits on either side of it. Adjacent closures matter to a monthly plan because deadlines that fall near a month boundary are usually satisfied on the other side of it.

Looking outside the month, the last was Vesak Day on May 20, 2027, 12 calendar days before June began and the next is National Day on August 9, 2027, 40 calendar days after it ends.

Across the whole of 2027 the Singapore calendar puts eight closures on working days, of which none falls in June. That ratio, rather than the raw count, is what tells you whether a month is carrying more than its share of the year's downtime.

A midweek close

The month ends in the middle of a working week. Two working days of the final calendar week fall in June and the remainder in the month after, which makes the closing week a partial period on both sides. A midweek close is the pattern most likely to push month-end tasks into the following month by default, simply because the week continues past the boundary.

The last working day of June 2027 is Wednesday, June 30. Counting back from there, the third-to-last is Monday, June 28, two calendar days before the month closes.

The quarter closes here

June closes Q2, so the quarter's last working day and this month's last working day are the same date. Everything the quarter has deferred arrives inside these 22 working days, and there is no further month in the period to move it into.

Across the whole quarter there are 63 working days, of which 22 fall in June. The other two months carry April 2027 with 22 and May 2027 with 19. It sits between the other two, which makes it the month where a quarterly plan is least likely to be thrown off by the calendar alone.

The week's first working day is the scarcest

The first working day of the week is the one June gives least often. Anything anchored to the start of the working week (a weekly kickoff, a Monday-morning cutoff, a start-of-week batch) fires fewer times this month than the calendar count suggests, because a closure has taken one of them out.

Counted as worked rather than as occurring, June 2027 gives Monday 4, Tuesday 5, Wednesday 5, Thursday 4, and Friday 4. A weekly commitment pinned to a particular weekday fires that many times in the month, which is the number a rota needs and not the one the calendar shows.

Toward the long end of the year

June sits among the longer working months of 2027 under the Singapore calendar. Where a month falls in that ranking is decided by two independent things, its calendar length and how many closures land on its working days, so a month can move several places between adjacent years without its length changing at all.

2027 carries 253 working days in total under the Singapore calendar. The longest month of the year is December 2027 with 23 and the shortest is May 2027 with 19, a spread of 4. June ranks 3rd of the twelve with 22.

Inside the year's longest clear run

June 2027 sits inside the longest stretch of 2027 with no Singapore closure in it. Where a month falls relative to its country's closure clusters changes what the same working-day count is worth: an uninterrupted month inside a long clear run behaves differently from one of equal length wedged between two closures.

Across 2027 the Singapore closures fall 4 in Q1, 2 in Q2, 1 in Q3, and 1 in Q4. A further three holidays land on the Saturday and Sunday weekend and cost no working day at all, which is why a country's holiday count and its working-day loss are different numbers.

The longest uninterrupted run in the 2027 calendar sits between May 20, 2027 and August 9, 2027, 81 calendar days with no Singapore closure in between. Stretches like that are where multi-week work belongs, and they move from year to year whenever a movable holiday does.

Where the month sits in the year's closure pattern

Closures are not spread evenly across a calendar year. They cluster around fixed anniversaries and around whichever lunar or movable feasts a jurisdiction observes, so two adjacent months can carry very different loads, and the Singapore calendar is no exception.

2027 opens its Singapore closures with New Year's Day on January 1, 2027 and ends them with Deepavali on October 28, 2027. The densest month of the year is March 2027 with two closures on working days.

One working day more than last year

There is one more working day in June 2027 than in June 2026: 22 against 21. A single-day swing is the ordinary case, produced by the calendar shifting forward one weekday between consecutive common years, and it is large enough to matter to a monthly target and small enough to be missed.

June opens 2026 on a Monday, 2027 on a Tuesday, and 2028 on a Thursday. That movement, one weekday in a common year and two after a leap day, is what makes the three counts differ. The count of closures on working days differs between the two years as well, so alignment is not the only thing moving. Looking ahead, June 2028 carries 22 working days.

Where the month's anchor dates fall

Two of the common monthly anchor dates in June 2027 land outside the working week or on a closure. The table below resolves each one against the Singapore calendar, together with the first working day on or after it.

DateWeekdayStatus under the Singapore calendarFirst working day on or after

The final column is arithmetic, not a legal conclusion. Whether an obligation actually moves when its date is not a working day depends on the instrument that sets it, and this site does not assume a shift rule for any jurisdiction. Where a rule is known it is stated in the holiday data methodology and on the country page it applies to.

Net terms dated in June 2027

An invoice dated the 1st of June on calendar-day Net 30 terms comes due on July 1, 2027, a working day under the Singapore calendar. Terms counted in calendar days move independently of the working week, so the same term written on two consecutive months can settle cleanly in one and roll across a closure in the other.

Invoice dateNet 30, calendar daysNet 60, calendar days
Dated June 1July 1, 2027July 31, 2027 (rolls to August 2, 2027)
Dated June 15July 15, 2027August 14, 2027 (rolls to August 16, 2027)
Dated June 30July 30, 2027August 29, 2027 (rolls to August 30, 2027)

Net 30 and Net 60 are commercial conventions rather than statutory periods, and both are counted here in calendar days, which is how they are almost always written. Where a contract counts in working days instead, use the between-dates calculator with the Singapore calendar selected, because the two produce different dates whenever a closure falls inside the term.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many business days are in June 2027 under the Singapore holiday calendar?
June 2027 has 22 working days under the Singapore holiday calendar. The month spans 30 calendar days, of which 8 fall on a weekend and 0 are Singapore holidays that land on a weekday. The remaining 22 weekdays are countable as working days for invoicing, deadline tracking, and contract math.
Which Singapore holidays affect June 2027?
June 2027 contains no Singapore holidays that fall on a weekday, so on this calculator's holiday set the month loses no working day.
What happens when a Singapore public holiday falls on a weekend?
Section 4(2) of the Holidays Act 1998: if a day specified in the Schedule falls on a Sunday, the day next following that is not itself a public holiday is declared a public holiday. The Sunday stays a public holiday under section 4(1). This site's data lists the added day in place of the Sunday, which is not a business day either way, and the calculator leaves the added day out. The Act adds nothing for a holiday on a Saturday, though MOM says an employee whose Saturday is a non-working day should get a day off or salary in lieu; the calculator keeps a Saturday holiday on its date. When two public holidays fall on the same day, section 5(2) of the Holidays Act lets the President declare an additional public holiday, on any day of that year, by notification in the Gazette; it is not automatic, and this site's data lists no such day. The Ministry of Manpower lists 11 gazetted public holidays: New Year's Day, Chinese New Year (2 days), Good Friday, Hari Raya Puasa, Labour Day, Vesak Day, Hari Raya Haji, National Day, Deepavali and Christmas Day.
Why does the Chinese New Year date shift each year?
The Schedule to the Holidays Act 1998 names the days, Chinese New Year (2 days) among them, and gives no dates. MOM publishes the dates for public holidays one year in advance, by the third quarter of the year before. In this site's data, Chinese New Year, Good Friday, Hari Raya Puasa, Vesak Day, Hari Raya Haji and Deepavali fall on a different date in every year it covers. For a year MOM has not yet published, the data holds calculated dates for Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Vesak Day, Hari Raya Haji and Deepavali and marks each one (approximate); where this site has no date for one of those days, the data has no row for it. Check MOM's list once it is out before relying on one of those dates for a deadline.
Why does the business-day count vary year to year?
Two things shift the monthly count for Singapore. First, the day of the week the first of the month lands on changes the count of each weekday. Second, Singapore holidays anchored to a fixed date shift their weekday across years. Some years a fixed-date holiday lands on a weekend; some countries shift the observance to an adjacent weekday and some absorb it into the weekend. June 2026 had 21 working days, so June 2027 has 1 more working day year over year.
When is the last working day of June 2027?
The last working day of June 2027 under the Singapore calendar is Wednesday, June 30. The month's last calendar day is Wednesday, June 30, so the two are the same date this year. Counting back, the third-to-last working day is Monday, June 28.
How many working days in a row does June 2027 offer?
June 2027 has 22 working days in total, but they do not run consecutively. They arrive in five stretches of 4, 5, 5, 5, and 3 days, so the longest unbroken run is five days, from June 7 to June 11. No working day in the month is isolated between two closures.
